My Crazy Disneyland Adventure!

Haha do you guys want to hear a crazy but VERY stressful Disneyland trip me and my boyfriend just had? 

ok so here's the story :

so so me and my boyfriend decided to go to Disneyland on Friday. My mom treated us, & we had reservations for Goofy's Kitchen and all. And also if you cancel reservations at Goofy's Kitchen, it's a $20 charge unfortunately. You'll see why I mention this hahaha.

so I've only driven to Disneyland myself once in my life. I go there enough so it's pretty easy to get there. Although I get nervous driving because a lot of people like to tailgate me and all.

anyways we drive there smoothly. We only live about an hour from Disneyland (30 minutes with no traffic) we knew grad nite would be there, but we didn't think about the entire consequences......

so even ONE hour after the park opened, the structure was closed. We didn't know where to go so we drove to downtown Disney. Although, we knew that they would charge is money for parking. So we asked where we were supposed to park. We were told the Toy Story parking lot, which even the EXECUTIVES barely knew where it was. So we're driving in a circle and we finally see a sign that guides us to a place called the Anehiem Garden Walk. 

The lady there told us that walking to Disney would get us to the park much faster. Which actually, it kind of did. So we walked there. It took us a while, but we found the pathway to take. 


So the whole day at the parks was really fun. We shared a turkey leg, a dole whip float, & we surprisingly got on a lot of rides very easily! We also met Oswald, and Goofy's kitchen was awesome hahaha. My boyfriend really liked the restaurant experience! Chip kept flirting with me and told me to forget my boyfriend...... Hahaha. 

So yeah all of that was fun. & then here comes when we try to leave:.......:


we start walking the way we came. We were on the right path for a little while, but then we start seeing restaurants we didn't recognize and I was getting scared because of the random people on the streets. So we ask people around us if we knew where the Anehiem Garden Walk was....... No one ever heard of it..............

my boyfriend (his name is Justin) Justin said he remembered that the Paradise Pier hotel was close to it, so we walked inside to ask for directions. I'm already crying, and Justin is trying to get me to stop crying & to not be scared. He told me to look at the statue of Goofy to cheer me up.... Hahahaha.

so we ask the guy at the front desk,..... Surprise! He didn't know where it was. I'm crying again. He gave us directions and said that it was next to Bubba Gumps. So me and Justin start walking that way, but his directions didn't seem right. 

So we both call our moms. Justin's mom works at Disneyland,.................... She didn't know where it was. 

I call my mom, & I'm crying again since my mom is VERY paranoid and stressful. Sometimes it seems I might have anxiety because she has it worse, Hahahahaha. But I knew she would be bombing my
phone anyways since we left Disney 2 hours ago and we still couldn't find the parking structure. Our moms didn't understand that we couldn't find the Anehiem Garden Walk structure, I guess our moms thought we meant the Disney parking. They also didn't understand that we couldn't find whereby car was. 

So we went back inside Paradise Pier, I'm still crying and we ask the guy again. He said "I'm glad you came back, I was giving you the wrong directions!" Hahahaha. Thanks for that! 

But it he gave us a map of Disneyland and told us to go back to Downtown Disney through the Grand Californian hotel & go trough the security check again & go to where the busses were at. So at the busses, we asks he security guards, they were confused on where it was. The girl was laughing me because she was confused. I'm sorry to say this, but seriously we left Disneyland 2 hours ago and we can't find the structure. It's not really funny.....


So then we see a NON-LIT DARK GREEN sign in the dark for Anehiem Garden Walk. Me and Justin are pretty mad that they didn't make it obviously seen. We take the bus and we finally got there. Now we can't find my car.......

after walkimg a few floors, we finally found it. We sent a little prayer and then drove out of the structure. Now, I had to figure out how to get to ball road. We drive in circles for that. My mom still texts me like crazy and panics which did not help me.

i finally found the freeway and we are driving home. Although tensions are high with me and Justin from arguing and all. So guess what? The freeways have detours........

we get off at some random place in Chino and I have no idea how to get back. Our gps kept trying to take us on the other freeway, but surprise surprise, the freeway is closed. That is our only route home. I park the car in some neighborhood & I start crying. My mom isn't helping messaging me every minute since she panics too much. Justin calls his parents and he find a way to reroute the gps. On the way, Justin calls my mom and tells her to stop making me worry. I'm very glad he did. She expects me to talk to her while I'm driving even after she says to not do that and she freaks out. 

So we finally get back on the freeway to take us home that I know by heart. Surprise surprise, that freeway is closed. So we are taken to another freeway, luckily I know this freeway by heart, so I get off and start taking side streets to home. Surprise surprise, the only road home is closed.

but me & Justin noticed that cars went in that road anyways, so I did the same. 

WE FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY make it back home at around 1:30 in the morning. I start crying from the stresss from holding it in & Justin tells me that he's proud of me for getting us home & kisses me. 

So yep, that is the crazy adventure we went on! Hahaha. & we never want to do that again!  

but seriously, Me, Justin and my mom were very mad. Disney, I love you with all my heart, but come on. If you direct people to a parking structure that not even your employees have heard of, please put up more lit up signs and and least give us a map. Especially since there will be a lot of tourists who won't know where they are. 

And California, please rethink working on every road at midnight on a Friday night when everyone is trying to get home, Hahahahaha.

not trying to sound mean but, all those things would've helped a lot

but yeah other than all that, actually being at the park was fun, hahaha. Goofy's kitchen, all the food, getting on all the rides and spending time with my boyfriend. That was all fun. But yeah he's not going to go to Disneyland for a while Hahahaha. And I will still go once a month, but I am not driving there myself for a while! Hahaha
